A life long passionate affinity for makeup and a background in cosmetology led Dorothy Strouhal to open her own studio, Your Makeup Expert, in 2005. A perennial go-to for local celebrities in Houston, Texas, Strouhal has also worked with national celebrities included Dr. Oz, Conan O'Brien, Yao Ming, Clay Walker, Mary Lou Retton, and several other notable political and sports figures. Time magazine, Premier Bride, and The Knot are just a few of the publications that have featured her work, which has also graced billboards nationwide.  Most recently, Dorothy has been featured in Gal Time.

A honed veteran when it comes to local and national commercials and TV productions, Strouhal’s business also includes a flourishing bridal division, which is operated in partnership with four other YME artists. 

Strouhal's talent for the cosmetic industry is obvious to all of who work with her and her belief in teaching has let her to create a remarkable training program that helps everyday women, as well as those who are more advanced, perfect their skills.
