My Beauty Pro Awards Entry & a Little Something About Me...

During my teenage years, I attended vocational school for cosmetology.  My last year of high school our family moved away.  The new school district didn't have the same program and I was unable to complete the program.  I worked at a salon at the age of 15 as a shampoo assistant learning everything I could from my peers. When I graduated high school, I entered the working world in the fashion industry working for showrooms.   My career life lead me to the administrative side of things.  As the years went on I became very successful in the financial industry working as an independent business consultant for the New York Stock Exchange.  Although, I achieved great career heights, something was missing.  My passion for working in the beauty industry lingered. 

I decided in 2004 to study Esthetics and loved it so much.  A fire rekindled in me and I knew that my passion had awakened. Battling with acne my entire young adult life, I knew I wanted to help people overcome their personal appearance insecurities.  I found myself interested in skincare, to help heal skin conditions, as well as cosmetics, to help camouflage imperfections. 

I moved to Dallas, TX  in 2005 and received my license in Esthetics.  I started working as an esthetician later that year and loved it.  It was an amazing feeling to help people achieve their skincare and beauty goals. In 2008, I studied under amazing artists and learned airbrush makeup.  I started a part-time business as an airbrush makeup artist for weddings, shows, shoots and events.  Throughout the last couple years, I found that there was a need to combine proper skincare with flawless looks.  I decided it was time to venture to the next phase of my journey.  My dreams, education and experience encouraged me to open my very own business, Haus of Beauté, an airbrush makeup and skincare studio.

Haus of Beauté is your one stop shop for all of your skincare needs for any occasion, big or small; from prepping your skin with the best facial services, to eye catching brow arching & lash extensions, professional airbrush makeup application and outstanding hair design & more!  You won’t leave here without feeling and looking fabulous!

My vision for Haus of Beaute, is simple.  I believe that all women have beautiful features.  My mission is to enhance and emphasize the natural beauty.

Since Haus of Beauté is a private studio, we have the time to sit with our client until everything is just how they want it. Our clients are treated like family rather than just a number; we want to be a part of their experience.  Extensive research has been done to find the best quality of services and products; it is so important that everything put on the skin is organic and the best on the market.

I always wished that I was able to pursue my dreams as an artist at an earlier stage of life.  You have more opportunities and have more time to build your name.  I feel that winning the Go Pretty's Beauty Pro Awards would be an honor and help me to achieve the fullfilment and recognition in the industry.  It would be a great opportunity to showcase what I have learned and share my passion with others.  The connections and relationships with others in the business would be the most valuable to achieve my career goals.
