THANK YOU!

I’m a true believer that what you speak into existence will manifest itself into reality when you have faith. I know that the stars above are shining on me and I recognize my heavenly gifts. Today it came in the form of a phone call from Tracy Saunders telling me “Congratulations” and that I was the 1st Annual 2011 National Beauty Pro Award Winner. I sit here humbled, almost speechless, searching for the words to express my feelings of gratitude and honor as I smile from the inside out, knowing that dreams really do come true.

I intend to use this platform to help me live out my dream of becoming a full time makeup artist, thus, utilizing all opportunities that come before me. I live for the day I can open my own studio or be commissioned to work in some of the major cities or even work alongside some well known pros. But I hold fast, because I know, dreams really do come true.

On this day, I can’t say thank you enough to Go Pretty for presenting this great opportunity to artists like me, who are tucked away, reaching for the top, and looking for that ladder to climb; and I assure you, I plan to use both hands. Thank you to the independent panel of judges for recognizing my talent and choosing me to represent this amazing award. And to the nine finalists who I was proud to be among, kudos to you for your continued hard work and dedication to making everyday beautiful!
