Uses for Noxzema Skin Cream

      Noxzema Skin Cream has been around since 1914 so you know that something is working right since it is still selling. I am one woman that will always keep it in my beauty cabinet. Why? For many reasons, but the main one is for burn marks on my skin . The tip came from the fabulous photographer Eric Boman. I was on a photo shoot with Eric one day and he saw a fresh burn mark on my wrist and told me to put Noxzema on it right away. He also suggested that if I ever burn myself again to put the Noxzema on immediately, a very thick layer, and let it set until the burning subsides. Apply more Noxzema everyday and there will be no noticeable mark on my skin was his remedy. I went home and tried it and he was soooo right! I have no mark at all on my hand. All of us who work in the world of beauty products that include curling irons often have a little scar somewhere. Ever since I had that revelation from Eric I always keep Noxzema on hand.

 Noxzema's unusual tips

1. You can apply a thick layer of Noxzema on a burn, like from a curling iron, don't rub it in, just let it stay a thick layer for as long as possible and the sting will go away. Apply more everyday and there will be no mark from the burn.....now that's magic!
2. Rub some Noxzema on your patent leather shoes where you have scuff marks and remove with a cloth.
3. If you want to get glue off of your labels, like on a glass container for your bubble bath, apply Noxzema and wipe it off.
4. If you have paint stains on your hands try rubbing some Noxzema on, it's a more gentle remover.
5. When you get an insect bite apply Noxzema, it's cooling action will soothe the itch.
6. Apply Noxzema on your legs before your shave cream / gel and eliminate dry, red patches.

Noxzema's beauty tips

1. Noxzema is a skin cleanser that will remove makeup and dissolve oils if you apply it and then use a circular massage motion before rinsing it with water. Avoid the eye area, it will sting......ouch!
2. It softens rough patches of skin, like on your elbows, knees and toes.
3. Noxzema is totally soothing to a sunburn, apply generously to get the cooling effect going.
4. Use it as a face mask by applying a thick layer and letting it sit for 5 minutes. It firms and tones the skin while reducing any redness.
5. Rub Noxzema on your feet before doing a foot bath and it will cool the heat from your feet!
6. Apply a bit of Noxzema on your t-zone before applying makeup to keep it matte.

• Noxzema has multiple uses besides skin care, you can use it for scuff marks on shoes, paint stains, dried glue, burns and insect bites.
